The occurrence of health globes descending, and the precise moment of their descent during a battle, are intricately linked to the specific category of monster being confronted. The geometric shapes within the health bars of these creatures symbolize potential locations for globe release, hence it is crucial to remain vigilant in order to anticipate the opportune moments for receiving a revitalizing surge of vitality.

Regular adversaries: the likelihood of releasing a vitality orb upon demise fluctuates depending on the nature of the creature.

Mighty beasts of valor: A 60% probability of bestowing a life-giving orb upon reaching the halfway point of their existence, as well as upon their inevitable demise.

Uncommon creatures: Guaranteed to release a life-giving orb upon reaching half of their vitality and upon their demise.

In Diablo III, death is not a definitive conclusion, but rather a weighty matter.
