Fortunately, an alternative approach exists for installing Diablo 4 on the Steam Deck, involving a completely manual process that minimizes the likelihood of errors.

Installing Battle.net Using Lutris

Running non-Steam games on the Steam Deck poses a formidable hurdle: Linux compatibility. This is particularly evident when it comes to games that rely on third-party launchers such as Battle.Net. Fortunately, a seasoned Linux expert has ingeniously crafted a straightforward solution for installing and playing third-party games on this portable device. Enter Lutris, a remarkable tool that streamlines the installation process for Battle.Net and other clients, sparing players from unnecessary complications.
